These Terms govern your use of Variotools. By accessing the site, you agree to the conditions below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance
Using Variotools implies full acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You declare that you are over 13 and have legal capacity to use the service.
2. About the service
Variotools provides a suite of online utilities (generators, converters, calculators, text and image tools) for free, anonymous use. The tools are provided as-is, without guarantee of continuous availability.
3. Permitted and prohibited use
Permitted: personal and professional use of the tools. Prohibited: automated mass scraping, denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineering of the code, fraudulent or illegal use, or any use that harms third parties.
4. Intellectual property
Variotools's own code is owned by its authors. Open source libraries used retain their respective licenses. Trademarks, logos, and visual identity may not be reproduced without authorization.
5. Per-category disclaimers
Document generators (CPF, CNPJ, RG, SSN, EIN, NIE, DNI, etc.): generated documents are fictitious and intended exclusively for technical testing. DO NOT use them in real transactions, official registrations, or any situation requiring a valid document.
Credit card generator: generated numbers follow the Luhn algorithm but are fictitious. They DO NOT work for purchases or real transactions. Misuse may constitute fraud.
Brazilian labor law calculators (severance, vacation, 13th salary, FGTS): values are approximations based on general rules. They DO NOT replace professional calculation. Confirm with an accountant or lawyer before making decisions.
BMI calculator: the result is a general reference only. It DOES NOT replace medical evaluation. Consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis.
JWT decoder: the tool only decodes token contents. It DOES NOT validate signature or expiration. Never trust decoded data without cryptographic validation on the backend.
6. Limitation of liability
Variotools is provided as-is, without express or implied warranties. The authors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service, subject to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Changes to the service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue tools at any time. These Terms may be updated; the Last updated date indicates the current version. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
8. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The forum of the user's domicile or, alternatively, the central forum of São Paulo/SP, at the plaintiff's choice, is elected.
